Matador Ranch will offer limited breeding to its registered Palomino stud TS Matador Star and Wrigley in the 2010 season.
Matador Star or Eagle Eye, as he's known on the ranch, not only has excelled in the show ring, he's pulling his weight doing ranch duty. He made the finals at the Ranch Cutting Horse Association event in 2008 as a four-year-old, and the semifinals in the Ranch Horse Association of America. He will also be seen in the junior class RHAA event in 2009.
Possessing athleticism and personality, this stud can easily move from dragging stout bulls to hauling young children. Ranch cowboys praise his cowy approach to ranch work and his all-around ability to get the job done in a confident and sure-footed manner. Eagle Eye comes from S-Bar Ranch in Spur.
The black pigment around his nose prevents him from being called a true cremello, but he has thrown color on his first first crop of Eagle Eye-sired foals born this spring.
Our newest stallion is Wrigly, a red roan from Oklahoma's Polo Ranch. Wrigly, a Boonlight Dancer X Starlights Sally (Grays Starlight daughter), is full brother to Lil Juicy Fruit, Sandy Bonelli's mare tht is already a money-earner at three.
