Matador Ranch is offering limited breeding to its registered Palomino stallion TS Matador Star and its red roan stallion Wrigley and its newest stallion, a dun, High Marked.
Matador Star or Eagle Eye, as he's known on the ranch, not only has excelled in the show ring, he's pulling his weight doing ranch duty. He made the finals at the Ranch Cutting Horse Association event in 2008 as a four-year-old, and the semifinals in the Ranch Horse Association of America. He will also be seen in the junior class RHAA event in 2009.
Possessing athleticism and personality, this stallion can easily move from dragging stout bulls to hauling young children. Ranch cowboys praise his cowy approach to ranch work and his all-around ability to get the job done in a confident and sure-footed manner. Eagle Eye comes from S-Bar Ranch in Spur.
The black pigment around his nose prevents him from being called a true cremello, but he has thrown color on his first first and second crop of foals.
Wrigly, a red roan from Oklahoma's Polo Ranch, joined our ranch in 2009. Wrigly, a Boonlight Dancer X Starlights Sally (Grays Starlight daughter), is full brother to Lil Juicy Fruit, Sandy Bonelli's mare tht is already a money-earner at three.
Matador recently purchased High Marked, a 1998 dun stallion by Highbrow Hickory and out of a daughter of Smart Little Lena. Take a look at his extended pedigree! He is well bred, and has a show record to go with it. Thanks to Earnest and Cheri Wilson of Wilson Performance Horses for the opportunity to buy this nice stallion. We believe that he will complement our mares nicely. We will offer breedings to him in 2011.
