Matador Ranch’s management goal is to improve the long-term health and productivity of its renewable natural resources to profitably sustain domestic livestock and wildlife. Matador Cattle Company is committed to improving its natural resources. We believe an integrated, holistic approach toward our livestock and wildlife management practices is consistent with our natural resources goals. For us to be successful at what we do, our cattle and horses must be in top condition. We value those animals and believe they should be provided proper care and treatment.

Matador Ranch runs commercial cattle on its 130,000 acres.	Palomino stallion TS Matador Star, or Eagle Eye as he's known on the ranch, has excelled in the show ring and in the pasture and working pens.	Matador's Quarter horse breeding program emphasizes traits including disposition, ability to be safe and perform in rugged country.
At times, Matador Ranch will retain ownership of its calf crop and stocker cattle through the feedlot.	The Akaushi breed will complement Matador’s commercial cattle operation.	Akaushi cattle is prized for their marbling and taste.
